We confirm that we have professional indemnity insurance to cover our design work for all types of projects.
The quoted fees within our initial fee proposals include for a digital copy of the calculation report with paper copies available upon request for an additional fee.
Upon Space Consulting Structural Engineers Ltd issuing the design report and invoice, payment will be required within 2 weeks. Payment for subsequent variations will be required before commencement of variation design work.
It is always recommended that building works are NOT commenced on site until building regulation approvals have been granted. Any works started prior to all approvals being granted, are undertaken by property/site owner’s risk.
Space Consulting Structural Engineers Ltd is not responsible for issuing documentation to the council for approval.
Space Consulting Structural Engineers Ltd is not responsible for additional design requirement specified by the council which may involve additional costs to the client unless agreed in writing.
Space Consulting Structural Engineers Ltd is not responsible for the quality of the work and performance of any contractors or consultants.
Space Consulting Structural Engineers Ltd is not responsible for managing the builder’s programme of works, nor providing method statements for any of the works. This responsibility will be with the contractor.
